Car Accident, Road Trip, Photo Shoot
This couple drove 6 hours from Wyoming to get their engagement pictures taken by me only to get in a car accident right as they were getting off the freeway where we were going to meet.
Needless to say I felt horrible for what happened to them and offered to drive up to Afton, Wyoming to do their pictures at a later date.
It was a long drive, but it was worth it to work with these two. I also had a good friend and fellow photographer, Kristy, come with me so I had company, a bag of mini eggs, and an amazing couple to photograph. Yes, it was a good day.
Now for Kira and Matthew...
These next pictures were taken at a little baseball field where they had their first date.
They also wanted to go to this cute bookstore in Afton.

Creative Dot Mom
A neighbor and friend of mine has a cool, crafty website. She needed pictures for it so she called and asked if I would do it. We had a lot of fun and she put up with all my crazy ideas. Thanks Natalie!

Chef Abby Party
I went all out for my daughter's birthday party this year with a Chef theme. If you missed the invites, they are here.
It was a little crazy at times with 10 6 year olds but they had fun and my Abby loved it.
The table was set with my grandmother's pink depression glass dishes.
When the kids arrived, they each got an apron I made and a chef hat. Of course that means photo shoot!
Then they all went back upstairs and made their appetizers, fruit kabobs
Then they made their own pizzas
While their pizzas cooked we played "Hot Potato" ...
...and "Pin the Chef Hat on Abby" which wasn't much of a success since the kids could see through the blindfolds! Just look at the pics:
Then decorated their own doughnuts which we packaged up and they got to take home with them along with their hat, apron, and some cooking utensils and hot pad all packaged in a bakery box with their name on it.
Pizza time!
The cake
It was as fun as it looks. I just hope she doesn't expect this every year because I don't think I could do it!
