I spend so much time editing for my clients that my own personal family pictures are neglected for months. Normally I would save pictures like this for my family blog, but I am finally getting caught up and wanted to share some pictures I love from our California vacation in February.
Love our hotel right by Disneyland with two bedrooms
Of course it's not a vacation without someone getting injured!
I guess birds can read afterall
Disneyland
I am hardly ever in pictures since I am the one who knows how to use the camera. The next picture is the only one I let my husband take and it says enough as to why it's better if I just take them...
At least the family behind us is in focus!
I'm forced to get creative if I want to be in any - such as looking for mirrors
The haunted mansion didn't look very haunted so I fixed it
I think Lu loves Tigger
Abby's favorite movie - Nightmare Before Christmas. Yes, it's mine too :)
My first time trying this in camera - I need more practice!
Yes, daddy has taught all the kids to blow the paper off the straw. Sorry to all the victims who have had paper hit them in the head every time we have eaten out since.
Poor Abby got a heat rash on her face
This fish scares the bejeebees out of me. He was the size of my 13 year old son and he was looking at us like he was hungry.
At least he smiled at me.
I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.
I love how my husband looks hungry in this one. Must be those ginormous crab legs!
Well, that is all. Sorry for the long post but I felt like I needed a vacation from normal editing and thought you would like to take it with me!
If you want to see the long version of the vacation, go to my personal family blog, Botany.

Loved it Suzanne! You are so good! I have never been to Disneyland and these pics definitely make me want to go :)
ReplyDeleteCan I be a part of your family and go on your vacations? Looked like SO MUCH fun!!! And I'm never in pics either. By choice.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me so excited! We're actually going to Disneyland in two weeks for graduation! Too bad you can't follow us around and make our family vacation photos look like this ;). The Aquarium shots are amazing too, we've been there as well.
ReplyDeleteI have never been a fan of Disneyland, for reasons I'll have to explain later, but your pictures truly make me want to take my kids there. I love the one of your daughter meeting Ariel. Your pictures aren't just fun snapshots from a vacation, they are creative and exciting. Thanks for sharing them with us.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos Suzanne! You're making me really contemplate the California vacation the hubby & I keep putting off. We might just have to do it now (my best friend lives in HB).
ReplyDeleteGREAT photos! We are headed back in a few weeks- and these pictures make me so excited! I am so glad you guys had a good time!
ReplyDeletegorgeous photos! What a fun vacation, and adorable family. The one of you guys out of focus cracks me up!!! That is exactly how any photos look when I ask someone else to take the picture. :) This makes me want to take a Disneyland trip!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your vacation with us through these incredible photos. We went to the same destinations last year and loved it. I can never get too much of the beach, and a little Disney thrown in is a bonus.
ReplyDeleteYour family photos have me seriously trying to get back to better capturing the moments rather than just the kids & locations. Love the stories so evident in what you have captured.
I love your pics of the fishies!
