Come spend a day in the mind of Lookie Loo Photography.
I'm not technical and I don't know everything there is to know about photography. However, I can teach you how I do what I do so here it is.
Cost: $475
Date: August 21, 2010
Time: 9am - 7pm
Location - Draper, Utah area
Here is what you get-
We will start the day with a photo shoot. You see how I work with clients, how I use natural light and locations. I'll teach you what camera settings I use and you will be shooting in manual yourself by the end of the session.
Lunch included.
The rest of the day will be spent back at my house where I will go through my ENTIRE editing process in Lightroom. Start to finish I will show you all my tips and tricks I spent hours figuring out myself. How I get my skin tones, how I punch my color, everything. Bring your laptops (preferably with Lightroom on them) and plan on taking lots of notes.
I'm planning on 10-12 spots. In order to save your spot I will need payment in full which is non-refundable. Email me at suzryma@yahoo.com for more details or questions.
I have had interest from out of state people so I will do a recorded version of my workshop. Depending on what we can get set up, it will be live or be available at a later date.
Awesome!!! Congrats on doing a workshop! I am very jealous of all who will be in attendance. :-) You will rock their socks off. :-)
ReplyDeleteSuzanne I wish I could make but by that time I will be back to Arizona. If you have a recorded version that will be awesome. I know you will have tons of people singing up for it. And I know whoever is gonna attend to your workshop is gonna learn tons. I'm here wishing you luck ( I already know this is gonna be a success) : )
ReplyDeleteWill it be in Salt Lake or somewhere more south like PG? I'm interested! I'll have to see if I can swing it, but I am a novice at Lightroom, (I have it and I haven't had time to play and learn how to use it well enough to open it up) and I'd love to learn that and see you in action!
ReplyDeleteA bit too expensive for me. I hope the taped version is less expensive.
ReplyDeleteEmili - Both the shoot and Lightroom training will be in the Draper area.
ReplyDeleteI wish my knee would be better by then! I hope you'll do another one and I'll come to that for sure!
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth, I think your price is right on...even a little under. Every workshop that I've looked into or taken with a photographer at your skill level is around the same or more. Everything you're offering is SO worth that price!
Oh, I would LOVE to come, but all my pennies are going in to the new house- maybe I'll be able to make the next one ;)
ReplyDeleteSO jealous! Would LOVE to come! Amarillo, Texas to Utah would be a major event! Very interested to hear about your recorded version!!
ReplyDeleteI know what I'm going to ask for for my birthday now! ;o) Your work is absolutely beautiful~ it would be such a treat to learn from you! Question: I use CS4. I am completely unfamiliar with lightroom and don't plan on changing my editing software~ are any of your techniques compatible with CS4? Do you only prefer those who use lightroom to attend? (pleasesaynopleasesayno LOL) I'm a very visual learner, so I may be able to adapt your techniques to CS4 later on...thoughts? At any rate I could learn a lot about the other "stuff" :o)
ReplyDeletebtw~ the picture of that little blue-eyed beauty is stunning! <3

Best regards
